looks like imma have to go to the drawing board and mock up a lamp housing that wont melt on me. I visually inspect the foglights periodically, usually when im washing the car. I havent noticed any signs of burning or melting, ill have to keep a close eye on that now

 

i try not to mod my cars in ways that lead to melting.
in fact i don't mod my cars at all.
but that's just me.

Oh and just for the record..............I have the same bulbs in my ION's and not a problem.
