Most wheels with a 4 x 100 bolt pattern will work. I have stock alloy wheels on my SC2s so I do not know which aftermarket brands fit without hub issues.

Rj -- any advice?

to me it all depends on what you like not what others like. some stay with the same size cause they don't like changing size. others do the biggest they can get away with while others do in between.

I've seen a newer sl running around here running bigger rims that may not look so bad if it didn't cause the car to sit so high. Its high enough it literally makes my car look dropped and its not.

decide what look you want... conservative, chrome, racer, etc. and go for it. make sure you dont get such a big rim that the tires sidewall is so small that one pothole will bend your rim, unless you are lucky enough to traverse smooth, well maintained roads. also, huge, heavy rims are extra unsprung weight which may compromise performance, so go lightweight. btw- what year, model?
