Spring question

Are there any springs (made by another manufacturer other than Saturn) that will fit an SC?

I believe RjIon has posted about the different springs (mostly lowering springs) that were available at one time.

I'd search the forum for his posts with the keyword "spring"

yes, there are. I have H+R sport springs on my car, which are pretty nice, they firmed the ride up abit and got rid of some of that ugly wheel gap.

There are others also - I had trouble getting my hands on a set of Eibach ones, there apperently not made anymore.

Oh - If your doing springs, your best bet is to get the KYB KG-2 struts with them. I have those on mine, and like I said, its pretty nice, not too hard (for me) and responds adequately for how the car is currently set up

If you get wider tires, they WILL rub abit. I bumped mine up 1" from a 6" rim width to a 7" rim width and from 185 tire width to 205. I also bumped the rim size up 1" to 16" to kill some sidewall roll. didnt go any smaller that 50 sidewall width to keep the tire the same size and prevent killing my speedo readings and make the car work essentially the same.

Me, I like EIBACH springs in S-CARS. 1.5 drop sitting on 205 or 215/45X17's No rubbing less you add people to the back seat. Click on the link below and root around my pictures, You'll come across my 2001 SL2 in bright red, 2001 10th Anniversay silver SL2, and my 2000 SW2 dressed in white. All sitting on EIBACH's and 17's.

I do miss that wagon........may have been the most perfect compact of all time.

You guys know where I can find a set of fully adjustable coilovers?

Last thing I'd do is to put a $1,000 dollars worth of coilovers in a $2,000 dollar car.

Well I'd like to make the car super dumped lol and have stiff suspension, but I can't get that out of lowering springs. So I decided to go with coilovers.
