Default Wiper Arm

I have a 2008 Saturn Vue XR and I'm replacing the driver side wiper arm. I need to know if the New arm part #25911765 needs to be Splined. I know the transmission is but, my new arm is not????

It's a soft core. Just install it.

Thank you, I've been fighting this for 3 months. You wouldn't happen to know how to set up the wiper transmission....lay out to bolt up?

When the transmission is disconnected from the motor. The motor shaft is not keyed ....it's splined. So, I need to know the position of the trans. connector ?? maybe a pic?

If neither the motor rotational position or the transmission position has changed, putting the transmission over the motor should be exactly where it's supposed to be relative to the motor, no? And when you attach the arm, you are doing so with everything in the parked lower position, yes?

Did you happen to take a picture before disassembly or during disassembly?

It's extremely helpful if you include all of what you're actually doing in the description of your issue. Yes you are replacing a wiper.

We can't possibly know you're replacing the transmission as well.
.
Please be more thorough in the future to avoid the 20 questions saga. Remember, we want to help, but we cannot see it hear it or touch it, so all of the details and related information matters.

No harm no foul.
Peace
Derf
