I am new to the site and I have a 2003 Vue, 2.2L, 46K and a rapidly failing CVT tranny. I have read about folks doing the Ion tranny swaps, 5 speed swaps, setting it on fire and pushing it in the ditch...I am weighing my options. I an thinking about buying another Vue with a blown engine...what years will the 2003 2.2L bolt into, considering a will have another complete Vue?

 

Looks like 2002-2005 Vue and 2003 Ion take your engine.
