I have a 2008 Vue AWD. Right after I had the tires rotated for the first time (by the dealer) the tire pressure inicator light came on the next day. I brought it back to the dealer to have it reset. Once again the following day it came back on and has been on ever since. It is a flashing light that eventually goes solid which means that there is a problem with the sensor and not the tire. Does this happen often or are the sensors just bad ? It''s a pain to bring it back since the dealer I bought it from just shut down and now need to go miles out of my way. Thanks.

I am sorry about the loss of your close-by dealership, but if you want the system to operate as advertised, you will need to go to a dealership (somewhere), and insist on a proper fix. Do not let them put you off because you did not buy the car at their store. Be polite, but firm in your demands ...

Any GM dealer should be able to help you out. Also call the Saturn 1-800 number and see what they suggest.

Why would a dealer service dept put anyone off because the car was not bought there. The service dept could care less where in the world the car was bought. They are in business to make money from warranty pay or cusomer pay. Take the VUE back in for a look see as to whats wrong, dial the 800 number and ask what GM store you can stop at.

sw2cam - Your question is a good one, and unfortunately, one I cannot answer. Too often I have had dealers (that did not sell the vehicle) tell me that I needed to take it back to the original dealership for service. I know, there is no sense to it, but it happens.

I''ve been in the business for going on 40 years and have never once heard anyone told that in person. I''ve heard people say they were told that but I have never heard it one time in person. It''s the dumbest story I have ever heard, and it never ever goes away evan after the fouty years I''ve put in this business. Just once I''d like to hear someone in the store tell that to a guest. The sh*t would hit the fan.

It has to be something left over from the 20''s, 30''s, 40''s 50''s 60''s evan the early 80''s, no not the 80''s or evan the early 70''s.Edited by: sw2cam
