I wasn't implying you put it on the sensor itself, but with the heat, the dielectric grease may "creep" to places you don't want it

Not exactly that but we're replacing the front Cat. Last resort.

The heater control switch stopped working today but a quick inspection and clean-up of the 40 pin connector solved that.
