Mystery Part on 2006 Vue 2.2L

Can someone identify the part in the pictures below? It's splitting on one end and I believe it's the source of a problem I've been having. I've drawn a line along the part I'm referring to and there's an arrow where it's splitting, thus the need for replacement. The other pictures show the two ends where this hose connects. Any information would be helpful!https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sat...8d1c182a1b.jpg

That is part of the evap system. It is the vacuum supply pipe from the manifold to the solenoid. Probably a Vue only part, the L series goes around the other end of the engine.

Thanks! That helps. Now, any tips on where to find such a part?

I think you can purchase repair components to make a new hose. The ends should be available separately and bulk hose and maybe some clamps. The OEM hose is a hard plastic like they use in the fuel systems. The ends have a small tab that you push to the side and slide the fitting off the solenoid. Many different cars use this setup. The PCV piping on the late 2000s Fords use the same stuff.

I spent quite a while looking for this part online.
The listings and fitment tables across multiple sites are shall we say hosed.
The one I track down for 2006 says it's for 2006's with CVTs which only existed in 2003 2004. And the same page indicates it fits a 2.2L V6 -- yeah.......

Yet it seems to indicate the correct pipe from a picture and correct fitment (year / engine) for a 4 cyl L61). But when I open the actual part description, the fitment guide says it does not fit.

Take your VIN to a Chevy dealer with the vehicle or that front on pic showing the whole pipe and see what they come back with.
Then we can compare notes and see if one is still out there. Almost all the incorrect listings I found were for parts that were still available.........
