My 02 Needs a New Engine
 

So old faithful gave out (238k). Well, she didn't give out. I failed to change the timing chain. So yeah, stupid tax. Anyway, I'm in the market for a 2.2 Ecotec.

Here's a question I'm kicking around: any thoughts on doing what I can to bump of the BHP while I'm in there?

I know I can't drop a Redline's J35A3 in there. However, no one knows of an off-the-radar engine that would bump up the power and would also bolt right up do they? :D

Assuming not, any recommendation on headers, exhaust, etc? Just looking for any mods people made that they have had good luck with.
