I need help there is no room for a torch or breaker bar.is there a way to tilt the engine a bit for more room???????? underneath the tront axxle and the rack for the steering are in the way

 

No idea what Vue you are working on.

You may be able to loosen the engine mounts and support the engine from underneath and adjust its position. Your other option would be to purchase the cat and the piping that leads to the next flange on either end and replace that entire section, getting around the issue of having to cut at all. More expensive, less frustrating.

And time is money

 

How about putting in something to act as a heat shield for the components you mentioned while you quickly torch it? Of course if you have to weld it back on, you won't be able to get to the back of it. Well it was a thought. Whatever you do you do it your own risk.
