engine compartment question

Can anyone tell me what these two plastic parts are for attached to the bottom side of the hood. I have a 2008 Saturn that I just purchased.

That picture is totally disorienting. Could you put the hood up and take a picture as you would see it standing in front of the car, please. Then take a picture standing a little further back so we can see where on the hood it is. Thank you

Looks like the back of a headlight, those round covers unscrew to replace the bulbs. My big International trucks headlights look similar.

The lights do not install through the hood on a 2008 vue. I owned one for a few years. The middle of the picture looks like the hinge by the firewall but I can't tell up from down what I'm looking at in relation to where the engine is and the overall orientation. At first I thought it was the hood release in the front but it's not (the white plastic).

Hence the request for a few more pictures for orientation purposes.

I was At a car show with my 2008 Saturn red line and a person with a lot of knowledge told me that it was to adjust the lamps. After looking at it close I could see that that is what they are for. Thank for reply
