Default Blower motor location on 2008 Saturn Vue/ loud vibration

Recently when starting my '08 Vue and turning on the A/C blower fan, it started to make a loud vibrating sound, shaking the dash area. The faster you turn up the speed the worse it got. Only quiet on low speed and able to move air ok. Thinking it's a bad blower motor, feels like the vibration is just around the right side of the dash. How do I access the blower motor in case this is the problem. IF this is caused by something else I would be open to suggestions.....anything would help...thanks

Go here.

Set of online Saturn manuals put up by i don't know who. It's a smattering and some has very little text.

There is a link for 2008 Vue. It may not be your model but I doubt the blower motor was changed if you ordered a V6...

The air cabin filter is behind the glovebox, so the blower motor can't be too far away.

Turn it on the lowest speed that vibrates and with your hand, trace the vibration on the top of the dash. Then get your head under the dash and you should be able to find it.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

The online manuals listed by Derf have a good description of how to remove the blower motor. If the vibration is sudden onset it is probably a deceased small rodent riding around and around. You will want to remove it before the odor gets too bad!

If it's not a varmit inside, then it's probably got a few broken blades on the wheel. I'm pretty sure it's plastic instead of metal, like in the good ole days!

Well, between the buffering on youtube, living out in BFE and a ten year old computer, I can't get the damn video to play for more than one or two seconds at a time. BUT, I'm a stubborn bastard and want to see it, so I'm waiting for it. Soooo, THANKS A LOT, Dave! LOL Man, that WAS disgusting. I disagree with him about the truck being totaled though. I'd remove the entire dash and heater box and clean them thoroughly with bleach. I'd remove the seats, carpet, headliner and door panels and replace all of them with junkyard parts. BUT, I'm a cheap bastard and hate to give up on anything! Oh yeah, and better him than me!
