So my girlfriends car has 147k miles and the a/c stopped working it has good Freon pressure the low pressure side is hot the high pressure side is cold from the driver side of the condenser to the expansion valve the compressor kicks on when a/c is turned on but it never quits running and the air is warm if I go from hot to cold I can tell a diffrence but when on cold and a/c on the air is just warm what could the issue be

What are the high side and low side pressures?

I haven't checked high side but low side is like 50

Need to check the high side too in order to see how well the compressor is doing its job, among other things, as well as to detect other possible issues.

See if you can do a loan a tool on A/C gauge set.
Be on the lookout for green dye. It fluoresces in uv light and is used for leak detection. It stains whatever it touches, including you.
The only people doing loan a tool for it have AC problems so eventually someone gets dye everywhere.

I will do that is there anything else I can try before then
