2003 vue
 

Have a 2003 vue- never any big problems -till now.?? car starts & runs/drives great. Yet!!= After some 10 mins (average?) sometimes the (engine) just shuys off!! Like the ign key is turned off! Dealer has replaced the ignition switch & keys -many months earlier - having no problems then. Car will start & run fine after cooling - and does same thing again. There are =NO CODES= stored at all. Whats amiss here? help please. Thanx.

1) crank position sensor flaking out when hot? They will often do this before they fail
IN THE DRIVEWAY:
Measure resistance across terminals when engine is cold and when it stalls out. You should be able to reproduce the behavior just letting the car idle in the driveway. A/C off.

2) Outside chance fuel pump is cutting out on you. Only way to quantify it is to attach a fuel pressure gauge (or a real time data capture tool to the diag port) and monitor the fuel pressure as a function of time. If it suddenly goes out of spec and/or slams down to zero, that's pretty conclusive.

You actually should check the wiring that leads to the pump where it crosses into the tank. Might be a corroded connection getting bumped around. Especially if you cannot reproduce the sudden stall while idling in your driveway....
