replaced pedal that it said to same thing like it hangs in high gear want shift down . it's not all the time but most of the time . I've seen about the bcm might be bad has anyone had this problem and knows what to do to fix it?

P1779 p0700 p0971 p1780 the p1779 is the main code engine torque delivered to Tcm signal

 

Please look at charm.li to assist with code diagnostics, I am the L series guy. I have the same 3.0L v6 but nothing on the 5 speed automatic.

 

So what I gathered is I most likely have a bad ecm

 

Checked ecm tcm plugs ground is good I noticed last night the head lights flicker ever so slightly I dont know if that is anything of not I'm trying g to locate a ecm now

 

I bought my latest 3.0l Saturn L with a bad ECM. If you find one at a wrecking yard make sure the accident killed the car. Sometimes when they have no obvious damage and the bad ECM is why they are there. I had to do the three times 10 minute security relearn.

 

Found one on eBay new plug and play $338 I'd rather go new if possible had bad luck with used sun's before on Chevy and fords

 

Hope this solves the problem just bought it drove about 15 miles then this happened fuel pedal with bulit in sensor was $120 and a new plug and play tcm is $168 can't even get a new bcm for it done looked

 

At a loss now went out this afternoon now it will turn over but not start I'm going to order a ecm tomorrow hope it works we bought it to be able to get back and forth to work only got to drive it about 20 miles since purchase its been one thing after another with it.
