08 saturn vue speakers
 

I need new speakers but the mounts dont line up. Im wondering what others use. Would this work?
im putting in 6.5 inch.

Since you're using crutchfield product, I'd suggest you just call their tech line. They're very helpful.

I just put all new kenwood 6.5 inch speakers in my 2007 Vue and got them from Crutchfield, along with a new head unit. I would believe that the mount would work but I agree you should call their tech line, they are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I myself made my own mounts and used them.

Care to share any pics you might have taken pre installation?

I didn’t take any pre install pictures but I do have a picture of the head unit after it was finished. But I can tell you that the original bolt holes to the speakers are in a triangular shape just like that mounting bracket, and if Crutchfield says it fits, it fits lol. They give you very detailed paper and downloadable instructions from start to finish on the installation. Also when you go to take the old original speakers out there is a sealer they put on there behind the mounting plate that holds them in. Just use a flat head and work it around the speaker bracket and they pop right out. It took me 15 minutes a door to replace them it’s extremely simple.
