'05 Vue, changing the EVAP solenoid

The car is showing check engine code P0498, EVAP system vent control, circuit low. Does this mean the solenoid needs to be replaced? Where is it located on a 3.5 engine? How tough of a job is it to change? What will I need? Thank you!!!

Don't know for this particular model, but many of the vehicles of now and then have EVAP VENT valve (not the EVAP purge valve) above the gas tank.

I would get under there with Jack stands and trace some wires that lead up there. Favorite spot for critters to build a winter home and they chew on the wirthe.

Do you have problems trying to fill the gas tank?
