05 Vue 2.2 rocker arms

I have an 05 Vue with a 2.2 ecotch motor. the other day I popped the clutch on accident and the car died. never to start again. I removed the valve cover and Noticed all of the intake rockers arms were laying down on the head and 2 of the exhaust rockers arms. one of the arms was broken. the Timing chain was replace 20,000 miles ago and it appears tight.
Does anyone have an Idea what happened to cause this?

Maybe the chain tensioner wasn't replaced and locked up and caused the chain to lock up too. IDK, I'm not a mechanic. Just speculating.

I would say that when you popped clutch the timing chain jumped. The rockers fell off because the valves are bent. Looks like a do over plus pull the head and replace all the bent valves. The same thing can happen to a timing belt engine.
