Hard steering

Have 2007 sky redline, rack and pinion was seeping , changed rack and pinion now hard steering under 2000rpm ...bad pump??? NEED HELP.

Was the replacement rack a new oem gm part?

I'm not sure about your car, but most have a procedure to get all of the air out. Sometimes it's as simple as leaving the cap off the power steering reservoir and making several turns from lock to lock in the steering wheel. Have you tried that?
