Hi, 5000 or so miles ago i changed the brake pades, sliding pins and
brake disc on my saturn. Few month later, while braking violently, i
bended one of the disc. I''ve waited before changing it so i could get a
pair on Brembos instead of the ones that was there. the other day, One
mecanic told me that in order to stop this woobly braking i need to
change both pads and disc... then another one from General Motors told
me the opposite

Would should i trust

Should i change the pads and the discs or just the discs... Thanks.

Once a rotor warps, it MAY wear the corresponding pad unevenly.

The pads might be fine. Or they may be worn in such a way that they may wreck your new rotor.

Just change the pads. IF you are buying Brembo rotors, I''m assuming you can afford new pads.

So why are you putting Brembo rotors on your sedan?

And you''re doing both sides, yes?

yeah i am doing both side

Well i bought those rotor because according to a few review i have read
and to my personnal experience, the saturn warp his front rotor quite
easily so i just wanted to buy something durable instead of changing the
rotor every 7500 miles.

And to answer to your question they are not very expensive (if you avoid
the cross-drilled ones) i bought mines on ebay and paid around 60$ for
a pair shipping included

anyway

Thanks fo the tip
