I had that service engine light on FOREVER and all it was was a dash light burnt out. and i had already spent 100 on a tps.

Why would you think is was the TPS? If it was the Service Engine light. The codes could of been pulled to tell pretty much what the problem was. If it was the service wrench, that usually indicatres a blown bulb, fuse or bad relay.

well the dealer said it was the tps and my dad fell for it and bought one. and all it was was the bulb on the gauge cluster. One thing that did help was a new temp sending unit.
