Default Trouble getting new trans mount in [SW-2 AUTOMATIC]

Got trans mount removed by cutting of stud, and we grinded off new stud as much as can to still hold nut and clear subframe

But cannot lift up transaxle enough to fit new one in regardless. What do we do? When try lift any further it just starts going sideways at this point.

Transaxle is currently jacked up

First of all, go and purchase a replacement for the new motor mount that you cut the most of the stud off of.

Second, the keys are to put the front of the vehicle up on jack stands. You will need the floor jack to support and then lift up the transaxle in order to make room to install a new transaxle mount. The other trick is that you need to disconnect the lower dog bone mount to decouple the engine from the frame on that side so that you can jack it up.

See the following video by Richpin. He has about 350 videos on the s series l series ion, and vue vehicles, mostly the early stuff. A ton of s car videos...

Do as he does and all will be well. If in doubt, see if there is a richpin video that covers the topic.

Please let us know how this works out for you. If you have more questions before or during anything you are working on feel free to ask.

richpin is awesome. He helped me out on a few issues I had with a 94 SC2 that I had.
