To gain access to the parking brake adjuster on a 1994 model - remove the rear ashtray in the center console. To tighten the parking brake cable, turn the adjusting nut in (clockwise); to loosen the cable, turn the nut out (counterclockwise).

I meant the Emergency Brake.
 

Can someone tell me how to tighten the Emergency Brake. And when I remove the Ashtray from the rear (Backseat in the middle behind the console) there is nothing that I can tighten. Please Help.
