I tried searching but couldnt find anything. I have a 1995 SC1 and when im driving (hot or cold) and when I go to shift, push in the clutch, the rpm''s will stay there for about 2-3 seconds and sometimes climb. Its pretty annoying. When I had my ford contour SVT, it did the same thing, and it was an easy fix. Anyone ever experience this? Thanks

Just thought I would put in my two cents.

I had a sticking throttle body a while back, which would stick closed, and would have to push hard to get it out of idle, easy to take apart and clean, but once taken apart. But it seems very unlikely that this is your problem, and I don''t imagine that it can stick "open" very easily.

Two other friends of mine with Saturns have similar problems that have not been completely resolved yet. But, these two links seems to address the problem pretty well.

good luck, and let me know what you figure out

Have had the trottle body sick on 100dreds of S-CARS .. Start by cleaning your thottle body. It will cost you one can of spray injector cleaner.Edited by: sw2cam
