Stalled and won't start

98 Saturn SL2 the transmission had leaking a was going to get more fluid and car just shuts down. Not having any tools pulled the battery terminal to see if maybe something had triggered the shutdown maybe the transmission getting hot and what. It checked all the abuses and release they seem to fine I hear the pump relay is it is doing its job by my knowing the sound of them. I have checked the Schrader valve by the fuel rail and nothing had came out as of gas that I seen not knowing how much pressure they hold assume I would see something at least but nothing. I'll be checking the obvious spark power to the pump. Also telling people the fuel filter to you see if there is blockage. To my understanding there is not a fuel regulator or emergency shut down switch.

There is not a shut down switch but there is a fuel pressure regulator which is part of the fuel filter.

What happens when you turn the key to crank?

Driving along fine and it shuts off? If so, I suspect crank sensor.

How did you remove the battery terminal with no tools?
And check the relays? Fuses?

Any codes?

Can a BAD ECTS cause a no spark?? Will the car start if I unplug it??

Torque converter clutch stuck On has been a code present before this happened and I knew I was low on trans fluid. Upon taking out my battery to replace it I noticed an wire cut on top of the transmission. Could any of this be culprit to a no spark?

I have since replaced the crank sensor and plugs. I still have prime on key turn. And checked new plug and the are getting fuel.

Anything is possible. I'd splice it back together and see what happens. Just make sure it's the same color wire before making the splice and put a small piece of electrical tape on it to keep it from shorting out. If it starts or makes that code disappear, then you'll want to solder it and put heat shrink around it.

what Ive have found new to problem.

Car has just stalled out with no spark at ECT. There is power and ground there is power to all fuses and relays. With key on I have 5 volt refrance at to MAP TPS EGR. I have changed the CKP. No further test after. Testing under hood fuses again noticed there were 3 fuses that had brighter lights on. Left car and next day I tested all fuses again all were good with 11.9 reading. Before leaving the car again. With key in the on position I have no power at the TRS/LP TRS 3/4 and TRS 2/TCC fuses. What causes this with temperatures in the -0 I don't want to freeze on next tests. I have ordered a ETCM and would love try and diagnose a different problem before putting it on come next Monday if it isn't the culprit.

It's funny not funny how we ask simple questions in an attempt to help you troubleshoot, and you respond by ignoring them / providing no response.

Car has just stalled out w no spark at ECT. ECTM? I'd hope you had no spark there. No clue what that means
3 fuses that had brighter lights on. wth?

11.9 means battery not fully charged but if it can't be started that'll happen.
