I have a '00 SL1 Manual with around 110,000 on it. It has never given me a problem but for a while now after it gets warmed up it skips when i am accelerating. If i put the pedal to the floor it doesn't do it and when i first start the car it is fine. I have tried changing everything I can think of on it so far: plugs, wires, fuel filter, temp sensor,O2 sensor, IAC valve, and i have put fuel injector cleaner in it also. Anything else i should check? I saw in another post that a guy with the similar problem had to change his timing chain. You think that is something that would be causing my problem also? Thanks!

Timimg chain is one issue all by itself and I believe 100k miles is the limit before replacement is necessary. The other issue is the 'skipping' and as I interpret it I would guess you're describing engine missing as in ignition miss while driving. If this is the case and considering everything that was replaced the last part that wasn't addressed was the EGR valve. This EGR valve remains closed during idle and opens at part throttle up to 2500 rpm then closes again. When open it allows exhaust gas into the intake manifold to cool the combustion process but if the valve sticks it will cause stalling andengine roughness problems. Removing it and cleaning off the pintle valve and its seat including the shaft of deposits till the valve moves smoothly opening and closing may correct your problem.
