In process of buying used SL2.

What's the difference between the SL1 and SL2 model?

SL1:
- SOHC (single Overhead Cam) engine. 1991-1994 85HP, 1995-2002 100HP.
-Black bumpers
-Black door handles
-Depnding on the year, is may not have A/C, power steering, or rear speakers

SL2:
-DOHC (Dual Overhead Cam) engine. 1991-2002 124HP
-Color matched bumpers and door handles
-Standard A/C, power steering, contoured front heats with adjustable headrests.

Those are the majore differences, there may be minor ones as well, but not worth mentioning.

Yeah, the major difference is the engine, SOHC= 100hp, DOHC=124hp. If you plan on modding, the DOHC is definately your best bet because performance mods will give you more results. SOHC your best bet is juice and a nice exhaust system. Either way, your getting good gas mileage.
