Hey guys - I'm new to this forum but GLAD I found it. I've got a '95 Saturn SL2 5-speed manual and am in the works of suping it up. I finally got the engine all fixed up and running good as new with a tune-up, new brakes, full-detail etc. etc. etc. Anyway, the reason I'm writing is because I've switched out the pedals and want to replace the gear-shift knob with something aftermarket to match the color-scheme (it's navy-blue outside, and I'm going for neon-blue highlights (blue-flame seatcovers and floormats)) but I can't for the life of me figure out how the hell to get the shift-knob off. I can't twist it, there's no bolts or anything... I'm stuck (and so is my shift-knob)! Any tips/suggestions/instructions? Thanks! |
Stock shift knob? PULL, yep thats it, pull straight up. Don't smack yourself in the chin doing it.
