I have a 2002 saturn sc2 with a bad transmission and i was wondering about switching it with one from an sc1. I know the dohc transmission was gear a little different for acceleration but if i was happy with the acceleration of a sohc transmission, would it work? I know they will bolt up and plug in but would driveablility be ok?

Manual, yes. Automatic, no.
