I have a 95 4dr auto sl sedan. I just had the a/c recharged, and after i got it back these are the problems i had.. When in a driving gear and standing still, the car wants to die as if the idle was really low.. and when you put it in park from a driving gear, it revs up to about 2000 rpm and hangs for a bit, then comes back down.. what is causing this.. also, there is a plug of some sort on the top drivers side of the engine that clips to some sort of sensor or something. what is it?

 

Please post a pic of the wiring and the plug on the end (since I can't see your vehicle from here)

From symptoms, sounds like your ECTS (engine coolant temp sensor) got disconnected. but can't be sure with out pic

Don't know how A/C recharge would be involved since the ECTS is nowhere near the A/C service port.....
