Recommended Spark Plugs for Twin Cam engine
I have searched this forum as well as sixthsphere AND the internet, and I can't find any information about the part number for the recommended spark plugs for my SL2. I have a '94 SL2 Twin Cam, and am aware of the NGK recommendation, but nowhere do I see an actual part number. Even within this website, NGK is mentioned, but not the part number.
It seems the internet is all about sales now, and not information on these cars. All the auto parts stores use their own generated part numbers, so that you can't cross reference with other stores, and, I assume, so that you can't make them price match against each other.
The GM OEM part number is 21035103, but I found no online cross-reference to any other numbers. It turns out that part number was used on other GM cars too, and it's still available over the dealer counter for less than $16 per pack of 4. Do I want the OEM part or the NGK branded part?
And to be honest, I don't trust the guys behind the counter at the auto parts store, because they're sales driven and likely to sell you something else simply because they don't have what you are supposed to get. They want to make that sale, right or wrong! They'd rather sell you something poor quality than nothing at all. An NGK part number is available at Autozone for $29 for 4, I have no idea if it's what I want or need.

BKR5ESA-11 and 5643 have been mentioned in over 25 posts (?)
Back in the early days, when you opened a spark plug box for these, you'd find the above mentioned NGK plug with the AC Delco part number stamped on it. Shortly thereafter, you'd find just the BKR5ESA-11 plug in the AC Delco box,
And so the OEM plug literally was the BKR5ESA-11 and could be ordered as such for less than the ACDelco boxed version. NGK later referenced a set of 4 as 5643.
So you want the NGK 5643 pack, which contains 4 x BKR5ESA-11 . Gap at 0.040"

They may have been mentioned in that many posts, but I couldn't find a single one. Has the method of search changed?
Thus I asked here.
Also, I'm more than just a little insulted. I was a poster on the original Saturn Forums website for many MANY years.
I had no idea that this website had opened up, or REopened. I just happened to click what I thought was a dead URL
in the favorites section of my PC while doing some cleanup, and BANG! Up it pops. I see that my ID and password
still exist, but I'm listed as a junior member. PLUS out of the nearly 100 posts I made in the past, ONLY 10 of them
show, going back to last year. I assure you, I was a member of the original website going back MUCH further than
that.. So you'll forgive me if I was unable to find your 25 posts that you mention. There seems to be a problem with
sorting posts, accounts, and titles/subjects.
As it stands, I don't know if this website is a continuance of the original, or something that is meant to pick up where
the original stopped.

Seems like you're thinking of saturnfans.com maybe?
That imploded 2 years ago.
Saturnfans.com is a dead link so to speak.
But if your link lead you here, then I guess you were here before.
As for junior/senior, that's an automatic forum thing. I have no control over that.
I've been a mod on this site for the last 2 decades.
Not much changes around here. We do our own thing. We're not a continuation of anything but ourselves.
The folks at sixth sphere know more minutia and internal engine stuff than we do for s cars and ions, except Gary and Andy who are professionals. And dropdead for ions/ecotec.
I'll take a gander at your acct. Rest assured the mods don't have time to mess with peoples' posts after the fact.
