Power Steering Delete?

Hey Guys, So my current 95 Saturn SL is the base, no power steering from factory. I'm buying a new 95 SL1 this upcoming week to replace my current but it has power steering..
Does anyone have a link or a write up on how to swap the racks or delete the power steering? I much prefer no assist in driving. Unable to find a thread on this and Youtube doesn't have much as well either. Any info is much appreciated.

Interesting.

Correct me if I'm wrong, guys, but don't circle track racers dump the power steering pump and the rack to jettison weight when building a circle track car?

I would expect you could just follow the directions in a Chilton/Haynes manual for "remove and replace", leaving out the replace portion for both the ps pump and the rack.

I'm not at all familiar with the differences in steering mechanisms (hydraulic assist vs manual), so I'm not sure what all would need to get swapped once the pump, rack, and lines are out.

Someone should come along and pick up on this......
