About a month ago, my power locks stopped working properly. It was a really wet day, and the locks went crazy. Pressing the "lock" and "unlock" buttons made the locks start twitching uncontrollably. They also twitched when I didn't hit any buttons. Sadly, my lock problem ran down my battery.

Have any of you had this problem with the power locks before? If so, is there a way that I can fix it on the cheap? If I can't fix it cheaply, could I just remove the fuses for the power locks, or would that hurt the entire car?

I have this problem currently. What I found with my car is that the driver's side door lock gets stuck, so after I press LOCK, i have to lightly touch UNLOCK (or vice versa) to keep it from twitching and killing the battery. I have yet, however, to fix the issue.

 

I am having the same problem - I was told that the power door lock relay is the problem but I am still searching where is the power door lock relay location - if anyone out there can assist us on this would be great...
