I'm curious if there is anything I can to change for performance or a change in sound for a 2001 saturn sl1 with a sohc motor any help would be great.

 

well you can get an exhaust system to make it a bit louder but youll want to make sure it has a good sounding muffler and also a good resonator so that you dont have a terribly aweful raspy sound.

Then you could also get an aftermarket intake which will give alittle more sound to the motor when you floor it. However neither of these two things are really gonna give any gains. Just make the car alittle more fun to drive

 

it depends on how much "power" you want i have a 1998 sl1 manual i have removed the a/c unit, stripped the trunk added a high flow muffler and cold air intake its alot quicker off the line han it was when it was stock i still top out at 104 but the acceleration incresed
