ordered my reprogrammed ecu from JET, 94 sw1

well, in addition to the rebuilt bottom end, refurbed head and removal of the cat, i just sent out a spare ecu to the folks at JET for re-flashing. i'm hoping that this will help the part throttle power (so the trans doesnt constantly have to kick into a lower gear with the cruise control on while on the interstates) i'm also doing a small amount of intake and exhaust port cleanup, not hoging the ports out just cleaning up the casting flash and i've put in a set of high-flow valves. the last thing i need to do, and it will wait till the present tires are worn out, i'm going to either a 15 or MAYBE a 16 inch rim. any idea how much of a difference that ecu re-flash will make? i was also wondering if there is a heavier front sway bar and a rear sway bar made for these cars?

what are they reflashing it to? As far as I know, there's not a whole lot of tuning you can do on the S cars via the PCM....

As for sway bars -- dunno-- never tried to hunt them down

from what I've heard it sounds like only one place sold upgraded sway bars and they've been discontinued due to low sales so probably the only way to get your hands on them is watch ebay, look around in jys, maybe craigslist or forums like this.

only option you have since you have a sw1 is use the sway bars out of an Sx2
