One of these...[lights]...is doing it's own thing,
I own a 2002 SL2. I recently noticed my reverse lights are not working. All my other lights are: parking=ok, brakelights=ok, tail lights=ok.
My bulbs are not burned out. The fuses are good. the wires coming out of the harness into the socket look good. The rest of the wires are so wrapped/taped up, I can't get in there to see if they're bad, but from an outside look, nothing appears to be cut or broken. Any speculations, ideas etc on what might be wrong? |
The reverse switch, probably located near the stick shift but could be on the transmission.

There is a sensor on the transmission that engages the lights. I had to replace mine on my SC a while back. Let me dredge up some info about it.
