OBDII Connector Problem and Key Fob
 

I have a 2000 SL2 and I recently purchased a second Key Fob. I know how to program the Fob, but the OBDII Connector is Missing the Number 8 pin for the Keyless Entry to program my second Key Fob. Does anybody know another way to program the Key Fob, or Fix the Connector with out having to Go to the Dealership and spending money that I don't have??

??? Missing ??? Is is broken off, or maybe just pushed back? Where's the wire that went to the pin?

That model never had a #8 terminal. 1999 was the last year that allowed you to jump the #4 and #8 terminal so you can program the remote yourself. After that you have to bring the car to a dealer or locksmith. I thought it was a trick question at first. OceanArcher normally would have caught this...he must not be feeling well.
