Default Noob Question: SOHC to DOHC Swap?

Hey, I have a 97 SC1 5sp with 400k kilometers on it and a bad head gasket. I was given an 02 SL2 5sp with 120k kilometers on it, with a beat body. I understand I need to switch a lot of stuff to make it work, IE, fuel delivery, harness, ECM/PCM, ect...

My question is, has this been done? Worth doing? Even doable? Keep in mind I have the entire parts car to work with.

Thanks in advance for your time and knowledge!

Ty

If it's "worth it" to you ............... then it's worth it.
