Default Need ideas why my cruise is not working...

I have a 94 SL2. I just bought it used and the cruise control does not work. The switch works. I had a friend check my cruise control. He said it was vacuum controlled. Everything from the fuse to the lines are good. He told me the only possibility is the part one of the lines attach to (see image: circled area). I looked for this part and was told it had something to do with the EGR system. Is this part what I should change next? Any ideas? Thanks

Actually, there are two fuses that power the cruise control. Both are located on the Instrument Panel Junction Block (IPJB). They are the CRUISE (5amp) fuse and the IGN3 (7.5amp) fuse. The possibility exists that the cruise control module itself is bad, and I'd check around for pricing
