Default Miata Twist 5-star wheels!

Hello all, new to the site. I daily drive a 2002 sl 5speed. I put 90 miles a day on it and it’s been a very dependable car for 3 years now. I’ve tinted the windows and kept up on maintenance and that’s it. Recently I’ve thought about putting better looking wheels on it but I’m not interested in putting a bunch of money into this car. It’s cheap A-B transportation that gets great mileage without being an EV or hybrid. So that being said I was in the used wheel market. I like the idea of using an OEM wheel, but with the 4x100 lug pattern, the options are limited. I searched for Google images but didn’t really find anything. I have installed a friends wheels off a del-sol to simply see if I like the cars look without the original wheels and it’s was cool, but they weren’t my taste. So as the post is titled, I’ve decided the best looking wheel for the lug patter is the 2000-2003 Mazda Miata “Twist” 5-stars. A very clean set in Chrome are around $400. They are a 16” wheel and my car came with 15” wheels. So I’ll correct the rolling diameter by way of using a 205/50/16 tire to basically be the same rolling diameter as the factory 195/60/15 is. At any rate, I’ll post pics when they are on, I found a set that will need to be refinished (I will sand blast them and then powder coat them myself). To anyone else driving one of these (or anyone really) let me know what you think! I believe these are THE RIGHT wheel for the car! Below is the wheels I purchased today and a pic of the friends del sol wheels

Is the offset different from stock Saturn 4x100s?

I believe they are the same, I’ll be test fitting them on Monday before I order tires and strip the wheels for powder coating

So this is just mocked up with the wheels in front of the actual wheels mounted to the car. I took the Miata wheels to work with me and tried to fit them this morning only to find out the there is an issue with the hub bore. The Miata wheels have a slightly smaller hub bore so, I’m sending the wheels to a friends machine shop to have them oversized to fit the Saturn hub bore size. The lug pattern is correct but since I could actually mount them to the car I can’t yet say that they are a 100% fit. Once they are back to me I will then fully mount them with tires on and see if they truly fit. If they fit, then I take them off, sandblast them down, powder coat them, have center caps made for them with Saturn emblems and get new tires mounted
