Well, at least not right away. It seems to take 5 or 6 times of turning the
stupid key in the lock, frequently with inserting/reinserting the key, before it finally opens. This is on both the passenger & driver side. If it makes a difference, this is on a 1997 SL2. I''m certain that someone will suggest ''just'' going over to keyless, but I''d rather go w/ the cheapest solution possible. If anyone has solved this problem, can you please tell me how, and the cost if I pay someone competent to do it? I am NOT capable of doing it myself. just worn out probably the keys. Get a lock smith involved. They can
remaster you a set of working keys. |
