Default Interior Lighting

Hi All,

New to the forum and new to Saturns!

I've just come into possession of a nice 1999 SL2, and its doing pretty well. Made a couple minor adjustments so far (new stereo and soon to have new speedo/fuel/revs/temp gauges).
I have realised there is no interior lighting in the car though, not that they have blown but there has been non installed (possibly removed??). I'm hoping to try and fix one in and hoping someone who has more experience than me can give me a couple tips.

I haven't found a full wiring diagram for the car, so first question would be if anyone knows of any wiring which energises when the doors open?
Next would be if these wires need a relay attached to give required voltage/current?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

G

Stop by your local AutoZone, and purchase the Chilton Repair Manual for your car. There are electrical schematics in the back that should help you with your interior lights
