i have changer that sensor. is the two wire go on the bottom sensor or on th top sensor? i have it on the bottom sensor. my coolant fan does seem to run all the time. i have changerd out that sensor 3 or 4 times now. i didnt know it had anything to do wit the exhaust and gas. should i try changing it again? i thought all that did was tell the fan when to come on.

The ECTS tells the PCM what your coolant temp is. The PCM (power control module) control the engine. Fan on/off, fuel/air mix, timing advance, ect........ If the fan is on all the time, you've got the ECTS hook up wrong. I'll see if I can't get some pictures posted in the next couple of days. |
