Default headlight mod

hey im new here... got a 98 sc1 sohc, was wondering if i could jump the lo n hi beams so when i put on the hi's, both lo n hi lights are on? i did this on my 06 silverado and put a resistor between the lo and hi beam relays. was wondering if anyone thinks its possible, and where are the hi and lo beam relays located? the console panel is missing so i dont know what im lookin at inside, and under the hood the schematic is missing too. thanks!

you do realize that anyone coming in the opposite direction will be totally blinded until you notice them and turn them off, yes?

just keep that in the back of your mind while you're making the mod.....

thanks for the concern derf, but most people dont look directly into the headlights of an oncoming vehicle while driving at night.

Ever been blinded by someone's oncoming brights? Bet ya have.
Were you staring right at them? Doubt it.

It's all good and fine, tho -- cause YOU never have to try to drive past yourself and see how utterly blinding it can be.....

since i turn em down when i see a glow in the distance (along treeline or powerlines before i see the actual vehicle), i know i dont bother anyone else unless they leave their highs on. i give the quick courtesy flash and wait a few seconds to give them the benefit of the doubt before i turn on the highbeams to whoever leaves theirs on

hope your not one of those people

No, not me you're blinding on the way by....but with something as bright as your mod, I'm not sure I'd do that to someone....

my main concern is driving the pitch black at night rural area i live in, not to blind people- i hope you understand. this mod, when i get it done, will help me see further at night. i realize it may be very bright and i keep that in mind by being mindful of other drivers as i expect the same. again, i appreciate your concern derf.
