in my 93 sl1 i am getting about 18 mpg city. my ECTS is working properly, i changed my spark plugs and wires recently, i cleaned the rods of the coils, ive used gas treatment numerous times, i change the oil with mobile 1 pure synthetic every 3000 miles...i think my exaust is running rich, but i just replaced my O2 sensor. i am at a loss. any suggestions?

CHANGE your fuel filter.

Take the coils off, and clean underneath them. if that doesnt work, post back.

I was getting horrible mileage in my 2000 sl2 when I first bought it and found out my throttle position sensor was messed up, my idle was like 1300 all the time now its 700 to 800 and I get 22mpg city now instead of 17. And after that I got my throttle body cleaned out and it does 24mpg if I keep my foot out of it. hope this might help.
