Does anybody know where I can buy a brand new or great used fuel level sending unit for my 1994 SL1 SOHC? The only one I found is only included with a brand new full fuel pump and parts. I just need the fuel level unit and nothing else. I looked on Rockauto, and Oreillys and no luck.

How can I test it to make sure it works fine before I install it in my tank?

 

dunno, guess you could immerse it in a big tank of water, read the V, then slowly drain and watch the voltage. Only problem w that approach is that water is the last thing you want in your fuel system

 

At this point maybe I will just buy the entire unit, remove the level sender and sell the rest since it will be brand new. Or just install it and sell mine since it works perfectly except for the level sender. That will help to even out the costs a little.
