Greg, Do I have to use RTV under that big washer (crank pulley bolt). I never used no sealant there... Can oil actually leak through that pulley bolt ?

With cover in place, what is the best way to INSTALL a new seal without special tools ?
What can I use to insert that seal straight and perpendicular without folding it ?
Any advise is very welcome.

I used RTV on the washer since there was sealer on there from the factory. Also a Saturn tech on the old SaturnFans site stated it was necessary. The seals don't take a lot of force to install and I seem to remember a piece of 1 1/2" PVC made a good drift.
