I am wondering - for a 1993 SL1 4 Door - what size star bit (that's what I call em anyway) does it take to remove the front seats? I don't have a Chilton handy or else I would look there. Thanks in advance for any help.

They are Torx - headed fasteners.

If you plan on working on your Satty, you'll find Torx fasteners strewn throughout the vehicle. Get a decent set; T-15 to T-30 should cover it. Full length torx drivers will last longer but can't be used in tight
quarters...you may need to go with torx bit sockets (socket with torx
bit in it).

If memory serves me correctly many of them are T15 and T20-- the larger maybe up to T25 or T30.

Never pulled a seat in my old (long gone) Satty (92 SL2)....doubt they've changed the size over the years.

Satty parts dept could tell you in 30 sec or less---or I could go down to the garage and check....
