Ive looked around on the computer and ive seen something that says Insufficient Heat? help me out please. thanks |
Did a bit of poking around on the net. . . .
PCM is sensing that the coolant temp is not reaching a high enough temp within a certain amount of time after start up. So I suspect either the ECTS is giving a low temp reading to the PCM, or the thermostat is malfunctioning and the coolant in fact is not heating up as quickly as it should. Have seen quite a few posts on this elsewhere for Vues but not the S cars. ECTS failure usually comes with all kinds of other bonuses, like hard starting, crappy fuel economy, bogging under acceleration, etc. Guessing the thermostat, but check ECTS first anyway. |
