Ok, car's running again...


Fixed all the codes but ONE


Now, all it has is a Diagnostic TRANSAXLE code 32.


Replaced the Coolant Temp Sensor as AutoZone said to try first, no luck. Now I'm thinking maybe the Temperature Switch? *It was only 10 bucks for both parts, so I'm not worried about the price* Has anyone ever had this error before and fixed it? If so, please share how you were able to do it without rebuilding the transmission XD

DTC32 EGR system fault


Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's), not diagnostic transaxle codes.


Are you sure this is a transaxle code? It would have been better to insist on seeing and copying down the codes directly off the scanner/reader from Autozone instead of relying on them to tell you what the codes mean. An EGR valve incorrectly operating may cause hesitation, stalling, and/or erratic engine running. If its vacuum operated you can remove the vacuum line, plug it temporarily, and just drive normally to see if the erratic engine operation goes away. If it does then cleaning the EGR valve and ensuring the smooth movement of the shaft opening/closing when depressing the valve manually may help to prolong its usefulness before replacing it.

No, I'm sure its a transaxle code. Have code 11 and the 32 is lighting up on the Air Bag light. *Guess the D2 light is out*

If you insist its a Transaxle Trouble Code (TTC) and not a DTC then it's simply a matter of finding the short to the temperature sensor on the transaxle or replacing it. Perhaps it would help if you describe what's going on with your engine or transmission for anyone to assist you.

Seems to be running and driving fine, so I guess its just a matter of tracing the short. Replaced the transmission temperature sensor today as well as replaced the pressure filter and fluids. Still getting the code, so I guess I'm stuck until I find the short.
